Started the week off with a trip to Taronga Zoo with SokLeng since the entrance fee for Sydney Uni students is only AUD5 each! Woo-huh! The newest attractions were the Snow leopard cubs which were bred succesfully in captivity. Also got to catch the new renovations for the Asian section of the zoo… I think the last time I visited the zoo, it was a year and a half ago…. Sure glad I went this time… My 5th visit to the zoo? wuahahaha…

Here are some pictures to whet your appettite…

Compare the length of the seal and the heights of the people! It was at least 6 and a half feet long… Huge! Big big things… Amazing…

Next up were the hoofed animals!

SokLeng's new favourite animal… the Zebra….

And this fox is found somewhere in the Sahara or somewhere like that (can't recall the name , it is very closely related to the Red fox though)…the Northern territory of the African continent. One of the cuter animals in the zoo… hehe… It dug a hole in the sand then sat in it!

And the stalk to the picture lollipop comes to sight. On the left is a native Australian daytime owl and the right, the Zoo's infamous sea-eagle… Wingspan of 2 metres I think… Just awesome…

So I guess that's it for now, peeps! Hope you enjoyed the pics!

Today we remember the ANZACs… Lest we forget… (Hey if it wasn't for them, there would be no international students studying here, would it?).

Uni starts again tomorrow… An end to a good holiday….

God bless!

P.S. Tried to link the pictures to a bigger picture but failed. Any tips, anyone?

What I do is use small pictures and link them to big ones. Flickr does that automaticly. Makes blog load faster
