Life is better than death. Love; greater than either…

Today Biblegateway’s Verse of the Day had this…

Hebrews 1:1-2: In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.

And then in verse 14 it says ‘Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?’. But Hebrews 2:7 and Psalms 8:5 says ‘You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.’

But it has a disclaimer saying a ‘little lower’ [physical] means a ‘little while’ [temporal]. I’ve learnt before that angels are made lower than us but these bible verses seem to contradict each other. But then again it is kingdom principle isn’t it, the first shall be the last and all that? If angels are made a little higher than us then in view of kingdom principles, they are supposed to be ministering spirits to serve us.

But what are angels anyway? Spiritual beings, ministering spirits. Do they need salvation? They don’t because they did not sin? What about Lucifer? OK, the Devil’s defeated anyway. The wages of sin is death. So all the ‘good’ angels are good because? They choose to be ‘good’? They have free will right? Can we talk to angels?

Angels appear and talked to people in the 80s but not in the 21st Century? We are all about hearing from the Holy Spirit now. Then what do angels do? Unemployed? Lol

Anyway… I’m going to get some sound research done on this. If it bothers me enough, you’ll get the answers soon but if it doesn’t maybe we can sit and drink Eternal Coffee and discuss it with the angelic host.

God bless!
